Prof. David Parry

Dave Parry is a Professor and Dean of the School of IT at Murdoch University. As Dean he leads a team of 35 Academic staff from all over the world who teach around 1000 students in Perth and overseas. Previously, he worked in the UK and New Zealand in health IT development. His research interests include the use of Artificial Intelligence to recognise and understand behaviour from sensor data, user interface design, and information retrieval. He is currently involved in a number of commercially-focussed research and development collaborations with partners in industry and the health sector.
