David Menz

David Menz works on APAC Policy at Coinbase. He is based in Singapore.
David has a strong background in policy creation and regulation of digital assets and crypto. Prior to Coinbase, he was Director of Digital Assets and Crypto in the Australian Department of Treasury where he and his team formed the policy parameters for the regulation of digital asset platforms in Australia. Prior to Treasury David worked at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and was a founding member of their crypto asset working group, contributing to early IOSCO and FSB papers on crypto assets and ICOs.
David holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is a CFA charterholder.
