Stuart Thornton

Based in Singapore, Stuart brings 25+ years of experience in industries ranging from telecoms to payments to eCommerce across Europe, Asia and Australasia. Originally from the UK, Stuart has held leadership roles within both large enterprises and start-ups - including companies such as Verizon, Vodafone and Worldpay. He was Co-founder and CEO of hoolah, the buy-now-pay-later company that anticipated the growth in the sector to build first mover advantage across Asia. hoolah exited to Shopback in 2021.
Since the exit, he has worked on a multitude of opportunities including helping startups and growth companies via fractional revenue and strategy roles through 6one, building a second startup - heros, giving back to the tech community via memberships with groups like B.TA and is currently supporting Credilinq - an AI startup focused at enabling financial empowerment for ecommerce companies in APAC.
He has a significant track record in start-up, advisory, commercial strategy and leadership.
