Tavis Bennett is CTO and co-founder of Q Factorial, a quantum software start-up specialising in solving commercially relevant optimisation problems. Q Factorial will help businesses reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency by taking advantage of near-term and next-generation quantum computers. With a diverse professional and academic background spanning engineering and physics, Tavis blends deep theoretical knowledge with practical expertise. Tavis is in the final stages of his PhD in the QUISA research group at UWA, specialising in quantum optimisation. His doctoral research forms the foundations of Q Factorial’s quantum heuristics for logistics and supply chain optimisation.
