Mark S. Gorriceta serves as Board Trustee and Corporate Secretary for several leading technology organizations in the Philippines, including the Fintech Philippines Association, the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, and the Global AI Council Philippines.
He is also the Managing Partner of Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra and is widely recognized as the country’s foremost legal expert in the tech and fintech sectors. Mark has been at the forefront of pioneering legal work in fintech, blockchain, digital assets, Web3 technology, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence. He advises the Philippines’ top domestic conglomerates on digital transformation strategies and represents leading local and global technology companies. His expertise spans corporate structuring, tax, banking and finance, capital markets, equity financing, and complex cross-border commercial transactions.
From 2020 to 2024, Mark has consistently been recognized as one of the Philippines’ Top 100 Lawyers. He is frequently consulted by regulators and has been appointed to various Technical Working Groups tasked with drafting key regulations, including the Open Finance Oversight Committee and the Financial Inclusion Committee of the Philippine Central Bank.
