Peter Eckermann is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Apate.ai, an AI-driven intelligence company disrupting scam operations at scale across voice, text and other channels of communication. Apate.ai partners with telecommunications providers, financial institutions, government, law enforcement and enterprises to extract real-time insights, uncover scam networks, and dismantle the business model of scammers, globally.

With a career spanning finance, technology, education, and government, Peter has led multidisciplinary projects and developed strategies that drive meaningful change. He has held key roles at BHP, PwC, within the University sector and the NSW Government, focusing on complex problem-solving, operational strategy, and industry transformation. In education, he has led strategy and change initiatives to enhance workforce capability and digital learning.

A Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Peter now leverages AI at Apate.ai to outmaneuver global scam networks and reshape how businesses and governments combat fraud.
