Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin currently advises the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN). Rebecca served as GFTN’s Senior Director from its establishment in 2021. Rebecca was Head of Programming for the Singapore FinTech Festival from 2019-2024, the largest FinTech Festival in the world with 65,000+ attendees.

She serves on the board of TiE, the largest global not for profit focussed on entrepreneurs and investors and leads the Thought Leadership & Marketing subcommittee. She previously served on the Strategic Advisory Committee for the ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN) 2019-2022.

Rebecca managed the FinTech investment portfolio at the Monetary Authority of Singapore 2019-2022, which included establishing the ASEAN Solidarity Fund and launching a Web3 certification in partnership with the National University of Singapore. Prior to this she was Head of Content for Money20/20, launching Money20/20 Asia and Money20/20 China. She has also worked as Programme Director for Pioneers Festival, as Digital Strategy Consultant for Founders Forum and as General Manager of the London Contemporary Orchestra.

In 2023, Rebecca co created a new TV show for startup pitching in Southeast Asia, The Big Spark. The show was produced by Mediacorp and aired on Channel News Asia in Feb 2024.

Rebecca appeared as a Judge on the Big Spark show, currently co-hosts the TiETalks podcast series and is in demand as a host, moderator, interviewer, pitch judge and speaker at events internationally.
